S2400 Soundfont instrument plugin creator

After a cursory look I found this regarding those settings. I’m learning about this stuff on the fly so I don’t even know if this is the right thing, but I’ll see if I can figure out a way to implement it.

Alternatively in polyphone if you put a “1” in the exclusive class box it makes the patch monophonic (without legato). I’m pretty sure it’s used for choking hi hats in drum kits and things like that, but I’m using it as a temporary solution for making basses and leads monophonic.

Hey Brad, the plugin creator url seems to be down at the moment.

god dammit…
f%ck Oracle cloud.

they have deleted everything, as the end of the trial period, stating that notification had been sent to the oracle app on my phone.
which wasn’t authenticated because i changed phones last month.

All data deleted etc.

please give me a few days to re-host the app elsewhere I’m very busy with getting up to speed with caladan stuff just at the minute.

apologies.

Yep also giving this one a nudge, as I’m keen to start getting the most out of the DSP

Just checking in again on this. I know y’all are busy with the Caladan, but wanted to see if it was coming back soon. Thanks!

OK, apologies for the delay, I am just completely absorbed in Caladan right now.
the plugin creator has been migrated to google app cloud and seems to be all good now.

Thanks for your patience.
Brad

Hey @bradholland is there any intention to support .sfz files or is it just .sf2 ? I just know there are lots more libraries/sounds in .sfz these days.

You are going to LOVE version 2 of the web app. as it will also let you create your own soundfonts AND .SFZ completely from scratch.
You just have to have continued patience with me as I am spread super thin right now and my main focus is Caladan.

Brad you’ve long since earned my patience, you’re the best. One Q: any plans to allow .sfz support on the S2400 DSP Card?

Possibly not directly, but as I said, in ver2 of the app, it can read in an .sfz and convert it to .sf2 for consumption by the S2400.

So, no matter what size of .sf2 file I use, I get this every time. Usually the progress bar even completes before it happens. Any ideas why they won’t work? I even tried an 8.7MB file and it didn’t work.

Should be fixed now.
please let me know.

So, now I am getting this error instead - any ideas what this means?

This is what it looks like once the progress bar is filled. I can play the .sf2 file but it still says the conversion is bunk and I cannot seem to download the .lv2 version.

on it, leave it with me..

ok please try again, should be ‘really’ fixed this time.
let me know, the limit is 500mb to your soundfont size, because, you know servers are not free, and this tool is free to you!
let me know.

All of mine are super small so the 500MB limit should not be a problem at all. I’ll check tomorrow when I’m back in the studio!

working ok now?
