S2400 phantom power

Hello’ It would be awesome if it could have some phantom power …IJS

Sorry, that would require a hardware change.

Is it possible to connect a USB based Audio device with Phantom like the Focusrite Scarlett to the S2400 and use that?

The USB host doesn’t support audio devices, only MIDI. If you want to use a phantom powered mic, you’ll need an external power source. There are some relatively inexpensive and small options like the Mackie M48 that would do the trick.

For affordable, decent phantom power, check out the Behringer (I know… sorry) Tube Ultragain MIC100 and replace that shitty tube. I bought one for $25 on reverb years ago, took a tube from a friend who loves tubes and replaces them all the time, and it sounds decent. Portability is ok.

I’ve used this one for a while now (also live on stage). The time you can use it when fully charged is excellent (12h+) and it retains a noise free and clean signal: XVive P1 Portable Phantom Power Sup. – United States
