Just tried using my S2400 as an audio interface , with it connected through USB. The problem im having is that the mix outputs( which are connected to my speakers) only seem to output mono signal when I play back sound from logic on my Macbook. It sounds like the signal is summed to mono.
Is there a setting where I can assign the mix outs?
the mix outs are the sum of the 8 output channels, taking the PAN settings into account, so you need to pan your 8 output channels left/right
Hi, I know this does not relate exactly to your question but - if you have another audio interface i recommend you try creating an aggregate device on your mac of the soundcard and the isla S2400, then route the S2400 in to logic via its 1 - 8 outs and have your Logic mix out playing through the other soundcard outs 1+2.
I’ve found this kind of setup to be very flexible and an easy way to integrate the s2400, you can always take an analogue signal out the mix outs on the s2400 and go line in to your other interface for those times when you want the S2400 summed out sound.
