RX 950 plugin

If you purchased it from the download link , download the RX950 1.1.3 Linux version. When you open it , it should look like this

Go into the RX950vst3 folder, copy over, Contents, aarch64-linux and the Resources folder
to the vst folder in the plugins directory on the dspcard. Then go to the effects menu while in the DSP mode on the S2400 and select sync from the menu. It should ask you to restart the machine after it is done. Then check tif you see the iphonik entry when browsing the plugins. This worked for me.

Sorry to bother you Brad, I just have a question for you. Does the process when syncing plugins to the DSP card creates the user plugins folder, or I have to create that folder ? When I synced plugins, I don’t see that folder, the plugins just go to the card in the choose plugin directory.

I’m sorry buddy, I’m not sure what you are asking me?
can you re-word it?

when you have a DSP card installed, the system will automatically create a folder on your sd card called ā€˜dspcard’ inside that will be ā€˜plugins’ inside that will be ā€˜vst3’ and ā€˜lv2’

The RX950 is a vst3 plugin, so you will take the VST_aarch64 folder from the rx950 download and place it into the vst3 folder on your sdcard.

when you select the sync function, the dsp card compares what’s in your SDcard dspcard folder and attempts to synchonize its internal folders, with those on your sdcard.

if you are asking me to clarify something else, you’ll need to re-word your question, sorry.

My bad, I meant the ā€œUser Pluginā€ folder that is in the dsp folder on the card. I was asking if that folder is automatically or manually created ? I watched your stream when you demonstrated how to install plugins to the card and I saw that folder there. I don’t see that folder in my DSP folder on my card.

ahh you mean on the S2400 screen.
Yeah we just got rid of that in the latest firmware and now organize plugins by vendor.
Otherwise that list was going to get unwieldy, fast.

Does the download of the plugin have to be in Linux?

Yes it need to be Linux. There are detailed instructions above in this thread on how to install.

This is a game changer. I use this plugin in Pro Tools, and may get the DSP strictly because this plugin plays well. Having the 950 filter in the S2400…? wild
I used my hardware 950 and this plugin in the same session (wanted to sweep the filter in real time for multiple instruments), and it was butter. If I spent a long time comparing the two, there’d likely be a difference, but I couldn’t tell in a real-time situation. This is my go-to once I’m ITB and want that sound.
