I have two questions, lol. Is there a way to play samples from a midi keyboard polyphonically ( similar to a Fairlight CMI). Also, could I connect a computer keyboard into the usb to name samples/search the S2400? This machine is already amazing, but I just thought I’d ask.

I’ve been meaning to do a test with my ROLI Seaboard MPE controller. My theory is that, with the Seaboard set to output MPE MIDI on channels 1-8, you could load the same sample into the 8 channels of the S2400 and have it work as an 8 voice ‘synth’ with per-note control over filter and volume. It ought to work.
There is no easy way though.
No support for USB keyboards (the typing kind) I’m afraid.

Is this still the final word? Or are there any plans to implement an option to use a USB QWERTY keyboard in the future?

If this means the sample playback in poly via midi keyboard I’m going to be on cloud 9…
