edit: it seems to be a waveform vertical size issue rather than a volume issue.
Loop/Slice button-> A button → Level button
it works but when switching back and forth with another track it seems that the modified value is not remembered and it goes back to the original value.
Thank you. My bad, newbie mistake. I had the impression volume was modified, only the waveform size stayed the same. (double checking on a vu-meter). I will save now anyway
