When playing two neighbors pads (for example A1 and A2), the note off of A1 will “kill” the second pad (no choke group). And vice-versa. If I play alternatively A1 and A2, I’ll get no sound if the release of A1 is simultaneous to the press of A2.
This is strange, it has never happened to me here. The way you describe it, it sounds like a choke group is active, but since you say it’s not, I can’t figure out what’s wrong. Sometimes it’s better to make a video demonstrating the issue.
Are you in multimode loop/slice?

I found that when the machine’s a bit overloaded, things happen. (a lot of notes, or long samples)
@eazyian No, I was in “regular” live play mode. (But it does happen more often in multimode)

This sounds like you ran out of voices - S2400 has 16 voices.

This happened also with no recorded sequence and only four audio tracks (samples). But maybe was it due to the samples length (long ones).
