Sorry if this is a newbie question but my levels are changing when I enter Step Programing or Live REC.
Driving me nuts.
Anyone have some advise?
That’s probably because manual overwrites are ignored during recording.

You can also do level+shift+A button, you’ll go into the gain/level setting page. Then click “Apply Changes.
Honestly I never understood the playback/recording overwrites after years of using the machine haha, I just accepted my fate of hearing a badly mixed pattern when recording lol

I little discouraged that you said you have not figured out the overwrites after years of use.
