Just a little inspiration, something like this could be a cool upgrade at the looper functionality, for those who are using it much.
In Looper mode:
Solo and Mute buttons indicates length of bars for the pad selected. You select the pad and the solo / mute buttons reflect the bars on screen. A little bit as the RC505 but in length instead of circle.
Or: you shorten or extend loops in tr8 style.
