Lazy chop help

I went to the manual to figure out Lazy chop… i have updated however i do not get the sample chop pop up when i press multi mode and rec /edit …the multi mode just reverts to pitch

Lazy Chop

Lazy Chop means setting the slice points by pressing the pad. Hold the Multi Mode key and press the Rec/Edit key. The words Lazy Chop… appear at the top of the screen. Press the pad to start playing the sample. Then, press the pad when you want to end a slice and start the next one. The slice number is shown at the top of the screen. Lazy Chopping ends when all eight slices have been defined, when the sound ends, or when any other key is pressed.

Thank you for this. I already chop like this similarly with the loop slice but this will be cool addition.. im sure im missing something, ive tried every combination i can think of

I was a bit confused by this at first as well when reading the manual. You have to make sure you’re in the waveform editor view first before Lazy Chop mode will engage.

That section of the manual you quoted is in the Waveform Editor section.
