Just picked up a Mirage

Somebody local was selling an Ensoniq Mirage DMS-8 (floppy drive having issues) for $200. It came with 50+ disks (lots of his samples and a few purchased disks), the input sample filter, a cheat sheet/some factory paperwork, and a foot switch.

Any suggestions on where to get rack ears, what kind of upgrades to look into, and what software I’ll need to back up the disks?

I would check out the Ensoniq Mirage User Group on FB - the knowledge base there is top notch (some individuals who wrote for the Transoniq Hacker publication pop up from time to time) as well as a number of engineers working on interesting peripherals etc.
