Right, yes I figured I could load a sample into multiple tracks → route each track to the same output → then set each track to the same MIDI channel
But this leads to all of the tracks being triggered at once (more like UNISON than POLY). So as of now, each track would need to be tuned to a different note ahead of time to create a chord.
That works great for making stabs especially since we can bounce the chords to new samples (excellent job btw!) but it prevents external gear from being able to play melodies across multiple octaves
I don’t mean to turn this into a feature request, but maybe filtering incoming MIDI per track would be the easiest way to extend the playability?
That way you could mitigate the voice stealing or even trigger multiple sounds on one MIDI channel without setting their MIDI Mode to None. Especially useful since most MIDI keyboards only output on one channel
