IMO it should be possible to route any Track on any Bank to any of the eight individual Outputs, thus breaking/changing any default association of Track 8 to Out 8 and so on…
This means I should be able to route all 32 Sample Tracks to any one Out, if I wanted, or all Track 1s to Out 7, or all Track 3s and 4s to Out 5, or any possible grouping.
I, particularly, “need” to be able to setup Buses with pairs of Outs, so that (for example) all of my Percussion samples exit via Outs 1+2 and all Vocals via Outs 5+6 and so on, from any Track to any Out…
as it stands, I believe, I’d have to be mindful of which Tracks I put the sample on in the first place to have it sort of come out the way I want and even then it’s not as flexible or powerful. I’d like to avoid all that.
So. What’s the status on this? Surely I’m not the only person to ask or want this. It is coming up with the next update, perhaps? That would be awesome.
Any sense for how difficult this change is or isn’t? Did I miss a key discussion about this somewhere? I recall seeing someone mention it in some thread here a while back but wasn’t able to find the thread again.
