I was wondering if anybody else has had an issue with the latest firmware update and importing SP1200 hfe files? It seems like the latest firmware update converts and imports the sounds, but no patterns are imported. Just blank patterns. I downgraded to the version firmware I had previously installed (March 10 2023) and importing both sounds and patterns work again. Anybody else have this issue with the latest firmware update?
Yes, importing .HFE images only extracts samples. I just thought this is how it’s supposed to work.
Something broke with the 2023-04-28 Update. The previous firmware version imported samples and patterns without any issue. Now just samples.

Hopefully this can be fixed in the next firmware update. Those old SP patterns are what I really want to port over to my S2400
Now that the DSP boards and latest firmware is out, just a subtle nudge to Brad and the developers about fixing the SP1200 pattern import issue.
Just to recap the issue…SP1200 HFE file pattern import is not working (broken) with any firmware post 20230310.
If I import the SP1200 HFE file with firmware 20230310, I am able to import and create a project which contains BOTH samples and patterns (all good).
If I import the same HFE file using any newer firmware version, it only imports the samples. PATTERNS are EMPTY. Going back to 20230310 and patterns import again.
Something broke with the 2023-04-28 release.
