Will the effects card be able to run Waves and UA plugins? Sorry for my ignorance in advance.
Good question!
The S2400 effects card does support third-party plugins, but Waves and UA plugins won’t run on it due to strict platform dependencies. While some of their plugins do support Mac Silicon (which is also ARM-based like our DSP card), they are still heavily reliant on macOS-specific frameworks and security protocols. Additionally, neither Waves nor UA currently target aarch64/Linux, which is the architecture our DSP card runs on.
That said, we’re excited to support developers who want to create custom effects for the platform!

Would it be possible to run something similar to exagear? some sort of arm-linux that let us load x86 native apps/plugins?
