Can I install other AirWindow plugins, if so how do I do that?

How do I install AirWindow plugins to the DSP card?

a) you find Airwindows plugins, compiled for LV2 or VST3 format and in the aarch64 binary format
b) you install them like any other plugin

I was trying to do this for AirWindows BitGlitter but didn’t succeed. If anyone can provide a bit more detailed description with a website/download link or something like that, it’s highly appreciated

No I’m not, fairly new to all this. But others were talking about BitGlitter, so expected to find something useful.

Tried the VST which of course didn’t work (BitGlitter | Airwindows) and then some of this Airwindows Consolidated | Airwindows but I don’t understand where to look for exactly.

And then at the same time not all files need to be copied in some cases (see RX950 for example) so this makes it a bit hard to understand what’s needed to get it working.

these are both build for Windows/Mac, not Linux aarch64, they wont work…

I’ll guess my source did make a mistake and did not meant this specific plugin then.
If anyone can find it in the correct format, please let me know!

I see the x86 folder for linux not an aarch64 folder.

I went to the Airwindows website.

So how did the AirWindows plugins that came preinstalled with the card, get installed ? There are a few other plugins from this developer I would like to install. I think the preinstalled one’s are from the consolidated install for LV2

we used an older LV2 port of airwindows which sadly is not maintained any more…

It looks like Airwindows has a download link titled “download LinuxARMVSTs.zip for the Pi.” Maybe that will work? The folder is full of a bunch of .so files.

So there is no way to install anymore Airwindows plugins to the card ? There are a few more I would like on there.

it’s on our list, but it’s not just a clear case of compiling the plugins for aarch64.
some of them make heavy use of oversampling and other things are are frankly made for a desktop processor, so they need to be optimized to run on s2400.
Not that they won’t work, but they might not work that well.

give us some time on this please, there are a lot of plugins on there to play with until we do.

I appreciate you responding back to me, thank you. Oh, I noticed that when I add a plugin to one of the returns, A or B, when I adjust the knobs to dial in the effect on the DSP mixer screen, I don’t hear anything. All the sliders are up also in the DSP mixer. Would you know why that is happening on my machine ?

it’s happening to everyone’s machine.
It’s just a classic case of fix something but accidentally break something at the same time.
It’s already fixed in dev and will be released within the next couple of days I expect.
