Just wondering if Audio Thing plugins should work to put on the DSP card. The site state " Springs is available for MAC, PC, and LINUX (VST, VST3, AU, AAX, CLAP, 64-bit only), and also as AUv3.
Unfortunately, these aren’t compiled to work with the ARM processor in the DSP card, just a regular computer running Linux.
Thanks for the clarification. That would be a dream setup, S2400 full of vintage Audio things plugins.
It is too bad I have a few of theirs and they sound amazing, especially for LoFi stuff
Yeah I was looking up Roland Space Echo plugins and saw they had a pretty highly rated one. I mean, maybe with enough interest from the s2400 community they would collaborate!
The Springs plugin is one of the best spring reverbs I have heard. And the rest of there Tape and experimental lo fi plugins are great.
get in touch with them.
it’s not a gargantuan task to compile a plugin to target aarch64.
however, it depends on how heavily the plugin relies on the GUI and what sort of copy protection/authorization scheme it uses.
Will do! Hopefully they will be interested in collaborating!
I reached out and let them know about the card and that we’ve got some potential customers here. Hopefully they are interested! I encourage anyone else who would support their plugins on the s2400 to reach out to them as well!
I did as well! Hopefully they follow through. It would be an unbeatable machine with those plugins.
My fellow Ian, you’re out there doing god’s work
I got the same message! Figers crossed as well!
Thank you brother! Here’s hoping it comes together!
