DSP audio artefacts

As mentioned in my previous post (creating a new one to keep one post per bug report), I’m hearing some low level clicking and popping when I’ve had delays on the Return channels.
It sounds like it happens around the time delay repeats completely fade out.
Will rest more later but for now have had it happen with both MDA delay and dub delay.

UPDATE: I get these pops and clicks consistently when the delays fade out. After listening at very high volume on headphones, it seems the plugins generate noise or dither. After a moment of that faint white noise being static, there is a sort of clicking and popping frenzy for a few seconds and then the faint white noise is inaudible.
However, this noise seems to come back sporadically but somewhat regular intervals about every couple of seconds. This seems to happen as soon as a plugin is placed on a Bus or Return. Its not happening when sending audio via USB but even when nothing is connected to the device (apart from my headphones of course) I can hear clicks and pops with the headphone volume turned all the way down.
This same issue is also happening on the Main Output but not the individual outs.

I’m testing certain plugins and it seems some are causing this more than others, here are a few where I heard it, even with headphone volume turned all the way down:

  • Airwindows Verbity (in the Uncategorized folder)
  • MDA Delay
  • MDA Dub Delay

It sounds as though some plug-ins introduce a dithering/white noise and whatever gate there is to keep this noise out is struggling. Seems like some of the plugins have a noise level that is modulating around that gate threshhold and resulting in pops and clicks. This is a total assumption though, I’m curious to know what is actually going on and how it could be fixed.

Same here. Glitchy distortion.
Happening on each bus and Live FX as well :frowning:
