@islamlp :
Have you tried to download the firmware again and perform the update for a second time?
I ask this, because when trying it out myself, I noticed something I was not aware of. I started the s2400 without the card, since you only use the ‘internal kits and samples’. I loaded a Rory Dow kit and then tried to load a Lisa V vocal. None of the one shot samples were there, although the folder structure was present.
After inserting the card, all one shots were back. So I think that the kits are internal sounds (stored in flash) and the one shots are just samples that are located on SD and come with each firmware update. Maybe reinstalling the firmware will repair the oneshots?
islamlp Just to mention I’m also monitoring this thread, but will mainly reply in the Support Ticket Feel free to keep this thread going as people are asking good questions (thanks all!).
64GB Sandisk (formatted in the machine), updating back to the latest firmware, no change. Kit loaded to bank A, bass sample loaded to bank B/no distortion, Rhodes sample loaded to bank C gets the distortion.
I’ve got a Lexar card coming tomorrow to test that in case the Sandisks are the culprit. I can use them when I finally buy the Fuji X100V I’ve been eyeing for months so win-win.
