Complete newbie Q - Sampling via USB

Hi Everyone,

My first post, I hope you can help. I’m only a couple of days into my S2400, it’s incredible. I have got through the basics, but there’s one thing that I can’t seem to figure out, and that’s sampling over USB from my Mac. I can sample over USB if I plug in my phone, it immediately starts monitoring. I can’t figure how to sample say youtube from my mac to S2400. I’ve figured out how to send audio from the S2400 over USB, but sampling via mac i just cannot figure. I’ve spend hours.

My interface is a PreSonus 1824C and my DAW is Abelton 10 if that helps.

Can anyone please help, or link me to a video!

So if I turn my PreSonus 1824c off, I can sample via USB. Okay, I’m halfway there.

You should be able to choose which device is being sent audio from your Mac. If your browser is sending audio to the S2400 then you can sample by setting the source to USB. Works for me (also with my phone which is super convenient) I use windows tho so your mileage may vary.
