Caused a hang- Overwrite Same File when file is on > 1 track and has a region beyond what you overwrite

Did something dumb which caused the 2400 to hang and need a power cycle.

  • I loaded a long file on A1 set a region (e.g. 0-1.5 seconds)

  • copied the file to A2(note did not slice, this was a copy operation), set a region (e.g. 2-3.5 seconds)

  • On pad A1 I went to Save-> Overwrite Same File

  • Tap Pad A2

I realize this was just bone headed, but maybe check to see if the truncate operation will affect any other pads?

Thanks for finding that bug, and for a detailed report. It is fixed in dev and will be in the next release.
