On the SD card if a folder has a space at the end of the name, then an error will appear:
‘Bad Folder Name Cannot open’
Once the space is removed, then the folder opens fine.

That is not a bug. It is working correctly. It is all described in the manual.

if your importing files from MacOS, makes sure there are no spaces at the beginning for ends of file/folder names
i was getting this same error message for this very reason
i find it stupid that MacOS allows this,
