@bradholland I’ve seen some frustration expressed on this forum over various things surrounding these products, and some I would say are fair enough to discuss. But I’ve remained quiet because as a software developer who’s been in the startup environment, I can appreciate the challenges of running a small outfit. FWIW I can sense the love and passion that are put into these products and it’s evident in the way they’ve been presented and delivered to users. IMO it speaks volumes about how awesome Isla Instruments is and how special these machines are amongst the sea of InMusic and Behringer products. I’m really rooting for you and Isla Instruments, and my S2400 is here to stay in my arsenal of gear.
With that being said I also think that the open sourcing of your firmware would be an epic approach to further developing and supporting these products. However I also recognize that it could open up a big can of worms for the business and Logistic end of things.
