Waveform editor ignores pitch setting for longer samples?

Apologies if this is already a known bug and if this is not a bug I can’t seem to figure out why this is happening.

I’m on the latest firmware. In loop/slice or multi loop/slice the waveform editor ignores the pitch setting and pitches up until exiting waveform editor where it will return to the initial setting.

This seems to only happen for a longer sample, I want to say anything over a minute but i’m not sure.

I recently noticed this as well, I could have sworn this wasn’t the case with the previous firmwares.

It wasnt, i often sample long sections and chop them in multi mode but after the last update this issue popped up and makes it difficult to work that way. Glad its not just my unit. Hoping someone weighs in on why this is happening.
