Using LiveLoop to capture Analogue Filters

Newb Question.
Am I right to say that the only way to record the sound of an existing sample fed through the ‘Dynamic Filters’ on Outputs 1&2 WITHOUT using another recording device…is to use Live Loop Mode and physically connect the cable from Outputs 1&2 into Inputs 1&2 ?

Further question : If I record in at 12 bit 26Khz and playback in ‘Classic’ mode does that have any impact / alter the sound in anyway ?. I would expect neither classic or hi-fi to make any difference to an existing (recorded in) 26Khz/12bit sample ? (I am not in front of S2400 at present)

Also, can someone help me understand the difference in sonic qualities between a 16 bit sample played back at 12 bit through the classic engine and the same sample recorded in at 26khz 12bit (and played back in HiFi) sonically ? is it just the pre-amps that are at play here ? or is the conversion different (analogue ADC vs Software process maybe ?)

Also… The re-sample/bouncedown mode feeds back through the ADC circuitry doesn’t ? (i.e. it is not a ‘DSP/software’ process ?

Sorry if questions have been answered … I have been reading around this and watching the vids and may well have missed something
