Sorry, new to this and can’t figure it out, please help!
I’m using output 1&2 and the out1 and out2 effects. While playing in step prog or manually triggering a sample, the first bit is always louder than the rest of the sample. E.g. with a break its the first hit thats loud and the rest is filtered and therefore quieter. Any ideas why?
The filters in outputs 1&2 are dynamic filters. That is they have an envelope that sweeps the cutoff frequency. This is supposed to mimic the behavior of the OG SP1200. If you don’t want that behavior then you can either use the other outputs with fixed cutoff frequencies, or use the digital filters that come with each track.
