I understand that truncating is currently possible but one thing that’s stands out to me is the lack of a simple truncate feature. In my mind the way it works is when saving a sample from the waveform editor screen a yes or no option of “truncate sample” would pop-up. If yes is chosen the sample is truncated and saved. If no is chosen the sample is saved as-is with the location markers in their user defined place (how it works currently).
