Sampling from turntable help

Hi there

I’ve been sampling into the S2400 , connecting my Technics SL1200 Mk2 into an old cr*ppy Vestax DJ mixer and then the output from the Vestax into the S2400

Can i just skip the Vestax mixer and plug the Turntable straight into the S2400 ?

If this is possible what would be the best input on the S2400 to plug into ?

Pretty new to sampling and any advice would be appreciated

Got it , no need for the mixer if i go directly from the turntable into the phono inputs

I guess the only thing i’ll be missing by skipping the mixer is the hi and lo tone control
