Sample editing issue

Trying to bring up a sample in the wave editor. Forum says “hit loop/slice then the A button” of the track which should bring up the editor. But when I do that I get the message “playback override on/off”… no editor in sight. Any suggestions?

Is the B button

Ok thank you, that works!!

Don’t understand why the manual says it’s the A button and multiple videos I’ve watched I’ve seen them hit A and wave editor comes up, very strange.

Oh wow, what videos are showing it as A instead of B?

The manual definitely says B. Page 29. At the top.

“Waveform Editor The waveform editor is for precise editing of slices and loops. It is displayed after recording a new sample, or after pressing the B button for a track when in Loop/Slice fader mode.”

I would be interested in who is saying “A” in their videos haha

Maybe in an early FW? I’ve never seen that thou

Pretty sure it was an Alex Ball video.

Check out it out at 7:52.

It says the video is OUTDATED…guess there was a change in functionality

minute 8:26

Check the new versions mate, this one is outdated. It says it in brackets.

Isla should just remove the outdated videos from youtube.
