Hi, I would like to me able to mix in the original signal path, Post filter… blending a percentage of original with the filtered version… for those many times when the filter removes too much of the original signal
could you just load the same sample on two pads, filter one and then mix those two pads together?

yes, but then loose a voice
If you use the bounce pattern feature you could record them both together and then have it on one pad. It’s a bit of a process but gets the job done.

Yeah good idea. But just more steps and more time involved that slow down the workflow on the S2400 for creating music
VS a SHIFT + A button and lower the “Filter Mix level”.
