Hi, absolutely love the machine so far, i am the type of user that chops/slices samples a lot, and i’m aware of the 8 pads of course.
But maybe if you non-destructively chop a sample, while in slice+multimode, you press the transport right button to acces 8 more chops, and so on, and of course use transport back to go back 8.
I’m also a Maschine user, and while you have 16 pads, going up or down a semitone or octave gives you acces to more chops. Of course this is a completely different way of assigning chops, but i though maybe something like that could work in de S2400.
Any chance we could load different samples into the slices? This is obviously possible by chaining different samples and resampling, then chopping. But some automated way of doing it instead would be cool.
@Bagoftrix welcome fellow Dutchman! What you can do is chop the bigger sample in to eight larger pieces and extract those slices by going to save and then save all slices to their own pad. Then from those you can access another 8 slices per pad. So in essence you could have 8x8 slices on one bank. You’d just have to sequence them per pad making it slightly less fluid.
