I’ve been getting in to using the midi tracks lately and been having some troubles with long notes being cut of when stop recording.
For example if you have a two bar pattern and record a long chord over both bars, you let go of the keyboard and the chord is recorded to the sequence as expected. But when you press record button again to exit record mode it’s like a note of message or something is sent so the chord will be cut whenever I deactivated the record button. Even though the chord is held down on the keyboard for the whole duration of 2 bars.
So you have to wait until the next time the pattern repeats and find a little spot where there’s no notes playing and deactivate record exactly there to have the pattern repeat the way it was recorded.
Very annoying and tricky
