Key combination and shortcut list

Here is the V1 of the list. It follows the structure of the manual, so for more details just copy-paste titles and do a search in the PDF manual.

I think it needs to be simplified and made shorter but I’ll see later when I have time for the V2 of the list. Please let me know if something is wrong or something is missing and I’ll update the list.

For experienced users, do not forget to use the Help key (shift+0 or long-press 0). Almost everything is already written in these help screens.
For new users, I’ll hope you’ll find this thread useful

I ll make this a “key combination and shortcut” list. Started to gather information yesterday and realized that there aren’t so many shortcuts to access menus but they are a lot of key combinations from the super obvious to the less obvious that are very handy.

It seems that it’s not possible to edit old posts so let me add the 2022-02-24 shortcuts here

(P22) -Bank+Mute/Solo/A/B: Toggles mute, solo, override or overwrite for all tracks in the current
bank at the same time.

(P44) -Arrows/Encoder: Change the value of the highlighted field. When editing slice,
Shift+Arrows/Encoder changes to the next/previous multi slice.

(P39) Added Bank+Arrows/Encoder in Step Program to scroll vertically by one track if there are more than 8 tracks.

(P46) Mute/Solo Bank
Bank+Mute mutes or unmutes all eight tracks in the current bank, depending on the state of the
mute button pressed. Bank+Solo works the same way.

For USB keyboards, anyone tried a keyboard with a wireless USB transmitter? Seem to only see those in my local Officeworks. Wonder if that would work or 8f it has to be wired USB.

Wireless transmitter? Why not plugin a standard wireless usb keyboard? Mine works. Mickey mentioned that some work, some don’t… but they are just a couple of buxks.

Sorry that was me trying to say wireless USB keyboard.

I use one of these backlit mini keyboards with mine. Works perfect. Just connect the RF receiver to the “host” port. Keyboard is basically the size of a big smartphone. $8.99 on eBay.

New combo introduced in the 2020-10-23 firmware.
(not sure the user manual will be updated so copy&paste from the firmware thread log)

  • Shift+Pad in track settings switches track without playing sound (pressing pad without shift plays sound)
  • Press Copy+Pad, then same Pad while in multi mode to copy that multi-pad’s properties to the main (non-multi) pad

Kinda lost with this one. If I already made a pattern with a chop in multi mode, would that sequence be copied too?

It copies pad properties only (e.g. slice points).
Patterns are unaffected.
