Is sampling tricky or is it just me?

I cant seem to find a sweet spot when sampling. Everything is either too quiet or too loud. I dont seem to have this issue on my 2500. I keep jumping back and forth to make sure I’m not crazy or my ears arent dying.

Also my 8 and 9 keep showing up red out of no where.

Can you explain your settings? That might help narrow it down.

After I posted I started tearing stuff down and rerouted. It seems the mixer I was using was significantly lowering my signal.
