Not sure if it’s by design or a bug:
If you have a pattern playing and cue up another pattern and switch to step program view the machine ignores that another pattern is cued and stays on the same pattern.
Yeah, it does that.

But when you send a pattern change by midi, it is acknowledged even when you are in step program. I’m pretty sure the midi command for next and previous pattern will be no different.
You can change the pattern while in step program. Shift+Enter to highlight the pattern number, then enter the number, or use arrows/encoder.
