All patterns are set with default swing at 8th notes with global tempo. I prefer 16th notes set with pattern tempo but I don’t think there is a way to change this as a global default (please correct me if I am wrong, otherwise, this is a feature request).
My current swing solution is to select a pattern, click swing, change to 16th and then hit the “Set 4 all patterns” option. This wouldn’t be too big of an issue except this doesn’t affect empty patterns. This is also an issue if you want to change an empty pattern from global tempo to pattern tempo- the change is not saved if the pattern is empty.
