Start and loop point are separate on the S2400.
I’d love to see an option for the amount of loop reps being dependent on the length of note gate - i.e. linked to sustain/release - for more expressive variations. Hold the note down and it keeps looping, let it go and the loops fade away as per the env release.
Like every other feature, looping on the S2400 is based on the 1200, then enhanced. It can do exactly what the 1200 did (if you use classic envelope), and more, if you use the fancy S2400 envelopes, including what you describe @adg
Hey @kamalsound this feature can be emulated on the S2400, The difference is that the concepts arent in the same “module” you would need to adjust the envelope along with the loop point to achieve the SP-1200 type effect. Mocked up a quick one just now, but better examples could be made:

Away from the studio for a few days, so on the loop length there’s an infinite hold mode?
Hence can hold the note down and it’ll loop until the gate’s low then stay looping as it fades to the end of the amplitude release segment?

I’d like to be able to have a loop start mid sample, play to the loop end point then go to the loop start point before the sample start point.
Basically, be able to set loop start BEFORE sample start.
Please make one post per feature request. It is the only way we can keep track.
