Erase steps while holdIng erase+pad in tr MODE playback

Any chance of this?

hold erase + pad while pattern is playing to erase that voices steps as pattern scrolls/playhead passes? currently having to use playhead to land on steps and press erase+pad, be cool to see this available while playing

or is there an implementaton i have missed that does this?

That would be great! Also the possibility to clear the all trigs of a pad, like erease+pad does in pattern mode.
