We could indeed build VST3 Linux ARM versions of our desktop plugins… however, those were not really designed to be as super-efficient as the KORG versions. And some might have issues with too many parameters available to edit (which is made to be much more convenient with their GUIs).
To be honest, the beauty of the plug-ins would be that they don’t have many parameters. Plug-ins with too many parameters seem redundant in this day and age unless you are a sound designer looking to create new sounds. I think the (up to) four parameters that you provide in the live effects is the exact sweet spot. The S2400 it’s not meant to replicate a computer and I think from what I’ve noticed the less parameters that are available on a plug-in the better. It is more about character and an old school feel with a new school approach. I noticed for example that some of the Airwindows plug-ins do this. They just have a few parameters that lend a distinctive character to the sound that they are applied to.
This is exactly what I was saying - our KORG plugins are focused on delivering an effect with 4-5 parameters, and they’re also better suited for dedicated hardware since they’re more efficient. But, once again, doing dedicated versions of those in a different format would be a commitment we simply can’t justify at the moment…
