Copying any midi pad by holding copy+pad, pad, causes the new pad to change colour to the copied pad (as expected), but after that there is no way to change the colour again. Whatever you set it to will be ignored.
Thanks for finding that. It is fixed in Dev. For now, after copying, edit the RecGroup so that the two tracks are not grouped.
