Now visible on the main website. With some instruments and fx plugins.
Still very much a work in progress. with A LOT more for me to upload. It’s a start nonetheless.
I’m thinking of opening this up to our users to be able to evaluate and upload also.
But for that I’d need moderators.
No need to shout out open source LV2 plugins to me, I’m aware of MOST of them. But I haven’t tested MOST of them also.
With the sound font plugins, it suggests MIDI can get to the dsp card. Is it reasonable to think something like Modartt Pianoteq might work (they compile to many targets)? In assuming it’s use at your own risk, and the question is more if there is something known to block this from working?
Edit Pianoteq is physical modeling, so no files to move around, similar to most FX processing.
@bradholland I worked with the team at Applied Acoustics in Montreal during my PhD. They’ve done HW collaborations before, and it’s intriguing to think what a cross-compile of Chromaphone to S2400 would open up. Take a look at the Plonk Eurorack.
I did get their plugin last night, it heavily relies on authentication via its GUI.
So it’s a no-go for now.
We do have some options in place to offer 3rd parties a method of authentication using UUID or MAC Address.
but in its current form, piantotec is not going to work I’m afraid.
FLUID R3 General Midi Soundfont Plugin (on par with a full korg triton sound set)
Vintage Dreams Waves Soundfont Plugin - 128 presets of wavetable based analogue/digital synth patches.
Not a high priority, but is there any way we can get a mobile view for this section of the website? I can only see 6 plugins vertically and 10 horizontally with no ability to scroll. Just trying to sneak some browsing in when I can throughout the day.
