I suggest that hitting “Song” quickly dismiss any prompts or modals in the UI which have 1 input. For example, after Move/Copy a pad, hitting “Song” should dismiss “Copy & Shift Completed: OK”. Currently you have to accept OK by pressing the encoder button first, but if you know you want to return to Pattern view then hitting “Song” shouldn’t get in your way here.
Furthermore, I would even suggest investigating if “Song” should dismiss any prompt or screen. Double-tapping the “Song” button can often be used as an Escape key, returning you back to Pattern view. On the SP1200 it gets you out of any menu and takes you back to Sequence view, which is handy.
