Adding to the above. OCT firmware. MIDI timing is wonky when panning (for me).

This is unusable in the current state. Rolling back to previous version.

Noting this will be fixed in next version, I hope it is soon.

CONFIRMED that this is not a problem in the APRIL 2023 firmware.

Hi. Any idea on timeline as this does affect clock stability.

I am experiencing the same thing. I am going to put the previous firmware on the machine until this is version is stable.

Will this be addressed any time soon? It’s a showstopper for me (literally). :slightly_frowning_face:

I’ve got this as well , it also does it when I’m using playback override for live filter operation.

Sample starting of timing Oct 23 firmware

i noticed this bug ages ago and didn’t report it, i think i was at the point of realizing that there are some serious processing power limitations in the S2400 and was just starting to accept that that’s how things are with this machine.

First time i came across this issue was when trying to get some panning automation going with an external LFO routed to the panning on 2 separate tracks, it worked and sounded great with the samples i had playing at the time…but just a touch on one of the filter knobs sent the machine into a complete timing meltdown, it was like i had veered too close to the edge of a blackhole in my space vehicle!!

Had other little timing glitches when knobbing the filters in other scenarios as well, but can’t remember the exact sequence or combo of actions.

Maybe these issues are being sorted as we speak and the next firmware update is going to have us all grinning from ear to ear

If anyone is experiencing this issue please raise a support ticket and I’ll get it taken care of for you

So its not a bug? it is only some of us…ie not replicable by the team on a Oct 23 firmware machine?

It’s a bug on the Oct 23 firmware as I confirmed earlier in the thread. There’s a fix you can apply while you wait for the next official fw release.

Rob I did not see a confirmation earlier of the bug being reported here, I saw confirmation of screen lag. Anyway great if that timing glitch is sorted for the next firmware update.
