Sync the SP in a live DJ Set needs some fine tempo control at least 0.05 bpm resolution. Why not reserve fader no. 8 for that control in a special dj mode? Move fader to centralposition, tap tempo and you from that you control ±4%? Even you can define some nudge pads. Disadvantage: You lose that fader for live performance.
Alternative solution, a new tap-algorithm which doesnt shifts to strong when i retap to resync from the first few taps if i hit for ex. to early. Like a mix of sync and tempo adjustment. Number of taps are unlimited for better resolution (0.05 bpm)
