Audio board SYNC LOST! error

Using the live looping feature, twice yesterday I got the above error and had to “press any key to restart.”
Today I had it in pattern mode and idle for several hours; when I came back to the machine and clicked “run/stop” it rebooted without the “audio board SYNC LOST” error message.
Rob asked that I open a bug for it and attempt to recreate it but I’ve not been able to do so - short of keeping a video camera trained on the unit I’m not sure I could.
At the time, the only I/O I have going on is a mono/TS cable coming out of a mic preamp into input one, and TS cables out of the L/R outputs going into my audio interface.
S2400 is serial no. 714

I’ll update this thread as I get more information.

I’ve experienced the same error, but it was after having a sountfont playing, over that I had the Aether reverb and over that I’ve inserted a bit crusher. When I changed the bit depth value of the bit-crusher the unit locked and displayed “audio board sync lost, press any key to restart”. Pretty nasty

I also have noticed this, If I use the external input to process things… And if I’m slaving to midi

Ditto. I can reproduce error when trying to convert mono dsp bus to stereo. Was working prior and now error everytime.

I’ve been having this issue very often, sometimes not while even using DSP. And when I use more than 4-5 fx active on Live FX it’s guaranteed to happen as soon as I have too much fun with it.

I’m currently using a USB hub (externally powered) and need to try a direct connection to the computer and see if it solves the issue. Are y’all using hubs or direct?
