Craig’s wife has reached out to me to let me know that he passed on April 11th. Craig had been battling colon cancer since shortly after we both became beta testers for ISLA. I know he has been a great source of information and help to many members here and I wanted to let the community know, with permission of his wife Shannon, that he finally succumbed to the disease last month.
For my part I will miss him greatly. He was truly a righteous and kind man with a deep love for the SP1200, the S2400 and this community. We had so many conversations in the early days of what and how the S2400 could be used and what could be additions to the user experience that carried on for hours. During those many conversations, we eventually got onto other life stuff experiences and beliefs after his diagnosis, I had really hoped to talk to him one last time after he left the hospital but he went very quickly. RIP my friend.
he was very helpful in the early days of the 2400 on here. I recall seeing his posts helping those of us new to this piece of kit when it landed. Sorry for your loss, OP. He was an asset to this community for sure.
