Since a couple of days I started using a template to have multimode sync set on for all tracks.
When I bounce a pattern to a track pad, I like the outcome the same as assigning a new sample to a pad. But it is not, all default track settings appear and my pre-set settings are overwritten.
There isn’t really a concept for user ‘defaults’ for channels. Bounce pattern resets the channel because it’s unlikely you’d want the same same filter settings, start/end loop points etc. as whatever was on that pad in the first place.
There might be a workaround. Try not assigning the bounce to a pad, and load it in manually instead. In that case, the S2400 will keep most track parameters.
